For two years, America has supported Saudi Arabia in their effort to overthrow the Houthi rebels.  During that time, somewhere between 20,000 and 40,000 civilians have died in the indiscriminate bombing.  Thousands more have died of Chorea.

All this has occurred while the world urges a cease fire and truce talks.

The architects of American participation in the war, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton and Donald Trump, have little human compassion.  Their aim is to keep Saudi Arabia as an ally and use the nation to fight a proxy war against Iran.

The U.S. has provided warplanes, rockets and arial refueling to the Saudi effort to exterminate the Houthies.  Once again, we see the power the military-industrial complex wields.  And for the first time since 2008, the military has a champion on their side: a man who enjoys seeing others suffer; a man whose hate knows no bounds.

For twoyears, the Trump administration has certified that is has been trying to avoid civilian deaths in Yemen.  A bald-faced lie.

Now the country is in the brink of famine.  Eight million people are on the verge of starvation.

Finally, even centrist law makers are speaking out.  And now with revelations about the torture / murder of Mr. Khashoggi, the Saudi’s have few friends left in America.

Yet Trump has stated through his secretary of state to not stop supporting the Saudis, but only to get them to promise to kill fewer civilians.

This is a classic case of sociopathy.  From Trump on down, we are ruled by men who have no compassion, no empathy, no remorse as tens of thousands of innocent civilians are killed in the name of expediency.
